The Space at 8 offers a contemporary accommodation option in the heart of Whitstable.
Occupying the ground floor and garden of a Victorian house, the apartment provides a stylish and relaxing base for your coastal stay.
The property consists of 2 double bedrooms. The master room features the original sash windows and fireplace (non working), a copper bed and an industrial style metal storage unit. The second bedroom offers a double bed and French doors.
The uniquely designed bathroom provides a luxurious free-standing bath, copper shower and floor to ceiling feature tiling.
Complimentary toiletries are supplied and there is a separate W/C.
The rear of the apartment comprises an open plan kitchen/ living area. This is a great space to socialise, cook up a storm or relax on the sofa. This area has been decorated simply and thoughtfully with your enjoyment and comfort in mind. Feel free to make use of the books and games supplied during your stay.
The kitchen is fully equipped and includes a Nespresso coffee machine, wine fridge and integrated dishwasher.
Bifold doors open out to reveal a furnished patio and private south facing garden. Whether you are enjoying your morning coffee whilst planning your day ahead or popping open that cold beer after a long stretch on the beach, this is the perfect spot.
The property is all on one level with no steps so ideal for young children and people with limited mobility.

The property is an apartment in a terraced street so has neighbours either side and in the flat above.
There is a shared entrance hall to the building which is also used by the apartment above.
There is free parking on the street behind though this does get busy, and a pay and display carpark across the street.

Whitstable is a quirky, arty little town with lots to do. There are some favourite bars and restaurants listed in the guest guide and you will find the latest area guides in the magazine rack, so you can plan your stay.
Whitstable is famous for its independent shops and eateries, along with its long shingle beach (the apartment is a 2 minute walk from the beach and shops).
Margate and Canterbury are both nearby and are perfect for a day out. Canterbury is accessible by bus or is a 15 minute drive, Margate is about 20 minutes on the train or 25 mins by car.
Canterbury is a picture postcard medieval city with a stunning cathedral at its centre. Whether you enjoy wandering around cobbled streets or partaking in some retail therapy, this is the perfect place.
Margate is fun for a day out. Home to the Turner Contemporary Gallery, lots of independent shops and a long sandy beach. This is the ideal place to lose a day and pick up some unique purchases.
The Space at 8 is approx a 10/15 minute walk from Whitstable train station. There is a taxi company just outside the station.
There is no parking space at the apartment. Parking is free on Regent Street (behind the property), though this can get busy. There is also a pay and display car park opposite the apartment and several others in town.
